FELIX MWENDIA MUTEA

My name is Felix Mwendia Mutea, a second-year student at Zetech University pursuing a Bachelor of Education, specializing in English and Literature. I come from Akachiu Ward in Igembe South Constituency, Meru County.

I have been a Christian since birth. My parents introduced me to the AIPCEA Church, where I grew up attending Sunday school and later joined the youth ministry. My faith has taught me the importance of prayer, perseverance, and trusting God, especially during difficult seasons.

My journey through university has not been easy. Coming from a humble background, my parents were unable to fully support my education. I organized a fundraiser that helped me get through my first year, but the financial challenges continued. At one point, I became overwhelmed and seriously considered leaving university because of my outstanding fees.

I learned about AMSHA Foundation through a friend on campus and decided to apply for support. AMSHA came into my life at a time when I was almost giving up. Their support helped clear my school fees arrears and gave me the peace of mind to continue with my studies.

More than the financial assistance, the support renewed my hope and reminded me that my dream of becoming a teacher was still achievable. Today, I am able to concentrate better on my studies and continue working toward completing my degree.

I am deeply grateful to God for carrying me through every challenge and for bringing AMSHA into my journey at the right time. I am also thankful to everyone who supports AMSHA and makes it possible for students like me to continue their education.

My journey has taught me that difficult circumstances do not have to be the end of a dream. With faith, determination, and the support of others, we can keep moving forward. I am thankful that I did not give up, and I look forward to using my education to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
